Through a whole series of events i Started thinking about the Appalachian Mountains and the women who played music. What is an artist to do when there is a mountain intent on “getting out” and no canvas to paint it on? Grab a piece of matt board and work the oil into the fiber and walla, a painting is born. This is a view north of us with the vista of the desert leading up to Mt. Jefferson.
